Glenn Gatlach
Also spelled: Glenn Gatlaig, Glenn Gat, the Valley of Osiers
A glen also called Glenn Gat, the Valley of Osiers, where the bull was caught in osier shackles.
Overview
Glenn Gatlach is the glen the text also calls Glenn Gat, the Valley of Osiers. Kinsella's route list places it in the valley above Ballymakellett. After the armies crossed it, the river Gatlach rose against them, and the text says the river had been called Sechaire before, taking the name Gatlach from the osiers the armies carried their calves in.
