Domnall Míldemail
Also spelled: Domhnall Mildemail
The war-like man in Alba whom Cúchulainn is sent to for training, before Scáthach.
Overview
Forgall Monach, in disguise at Emain, names Domnall Míldemail the war-like as the man Cúchulainn should visit, hoping he will never come back. Cúchulainn stays with him and is taught the Pierced Flagstone, with the bellows blowing under it, until his soles are blackened, and the Hero's Coil on the Spikes of Spears, climbing a spear and performing on its point without making his soles bleed. Domnall then tells him his training will not be finished until he visits Scáthach further east in Alba.
