Maenén

Medb's jester, who mocks the Maine for flinching from Cúchulainn and has his head shattered by a stone.

Overview

When Ailill says Cúchulainn can't be far off, his sons the Maine rise up to look around, and Cúchulainn shatters the head of one of them. Maenén the jester says that was a fine way to rise against him after all their boasting, and a stone from Cúchulainn shatters his head as well. He is the last on the list of the slain, on his hill.

I would have knocked his head off.
