The Seekers of the Táin
The grandson and grandfather who go east to find the full Táin.
Overview
Senchán's poets could recall only parts of the Táin, so Senchán sent a pupil east to learn the full version from a sage. Emine, Ninéne's grandson, set out with Muirgen, Senchán's son. The text says nothing more about Emine or Ninéne. Fergus mac Roich's gravestone lies on their road, and Muirgen sits down beside it.
