Fornocht
Also spelled: Druim Baiscne, the Naked Place
The Naked Place, which the army left for, and where Cúchulainn killed Medb's young hound Baiscne.
Overview
Fornocht is the Naked Place. The army left for it after Fergus leapt the oak at Mag Muceda. On that march Cúchulainn killed Medb's young hound Baiscne with a sling-stone, and the text says the place where this happened is called Druim Baiscne, the Ridge of Baiscne, since that time.
