Finnchad Fer Benn
Conchobor's son, the Horned Man, whom his father sends to summon the chieftains of Ulster.
Overview
Finnchad Fer Benn is Conchobor's son, called the Horned Man because of the silver horns he wore. When Conchobor rises from his pangs he lays a hand on Finnchad and sends him to summon a long list of chieftains, beginning with Deda from his bay. Finnchad finds his task easy, for all the chieftains in Conchobor's province had been waiting for Conchobor to move.
