Fintan
Cethern's father, who rides to avenge him with a hundred and fifty men and comes away with one son.
Overview
Fintan comes to avenge his son Cethern with three times fifty men with double-headed spears. They fight seven battles, and only Fintan and his son Crimthann come out alive. Ailill saves Crimthann out of fear of Fintan, on condition that he fights no more until he comes with Conchobor to the last Battle, and Fintan promises Ailill friendship in return.
