Emer's Brothers and the Munster Suitor's Kin
Emer's three brothers and Lugaid's father, named in Cúchulainn's courtship of Emer.
Overview
Lugaid comes from Munster to woo the daughters of Coirpre Niafer, and Forgall promises him Emer. Emer swears that she loves Cúchulainn, and Lugaid turns for home. When Cúchulainn finally reaches Forgall's fort, his strokes kill the men in each group and leave one standing, and the three who are left are Emer's brothers. Alamiach appears only as Lugaid's father.
