Others Killed in Chapter VIII

Men Cúchulainn kills at the fords of Cuib and in the week of night attacks at Ath Grencha.

Overview

The narrator gives this list straight after Cúchulainn kills Redg with his javelin. The men killed in Cuib are set down by place, and several of the places take the name of the dead man. Láth mac Dabró, Foirc mac trí n-Aignech and Srúbgaile mac Eobith are sent out against him, and all three die in single combat. Long mac Mofemis is killed after his brother Lóch refuses the fight, and the list then gives the men killed at Ath Grencha in a week of night attacks.
