Druim Féne

A ridge in Conaille where the armies stopped for the night on the way from Cuailnge.

Overview

Druim Féne is a ridge in Conaille where the armies stopped for the night. The text tells the march from Cuailnge in two versions, and the second version starts at this ridge. Kinsella's notes say so, and say the second version is written in a more elaborate style.

Events here

  1. The armies spend the night in Druim Féne in Conaille, which ends the first version of their march from Cuailnge. In Chapter VI: From Finnabair Chuailnge to Conaille.
  2. In the second version of the march, Cúchulainn has already killed Cuillius at Ath Cuillne when the army reaches Druim Féne for the night. In Chapter VI: From Finnabair Chuailnge to Conaille. Involves: Cúchulainn, Cuillius.
