Morann
The judge who settles the quarrel over who will foster Cúchulainn by giving every claimant a share.
Overview
Conchobor cannot settle the fight over the baby and sends it to the judge Morann at Emain. Morann says the boy should go to Conchobor as Finnchaem's kin, with Sencha teaching eloquence, Blai Briuga providing, Fergus taking him on his knee, Amargin as teacher, Conall Cernach as foster-brother and Finnchaem supplying a mother's teats. The narration then says the boy was given to Amargin and Finnchaem and reared at Imrith Fort.
He will be cherished by many, this boy, and he will settle your trials of honour and win your ford-fights and all your battles.
