Cúroi mac Dáiri
Also spelled: Cú Roí mac Dáiri, Cú Roí, Curoi mac Daire
A great Munster warrior whom Medb names as Cúchulainn's only match, and who starts a stone-throwing match with Munremur.
Overview
Medb says Cúchulainn has no match in Ireland unless Cúroi mac Dáiri comes, and one of Cúroi's people says he will not, having done enough in sending his men. In the rising of Ulster he comes anyway to help his own people and throws stones across the camps with Munremur, which gives Mag Clochair its name. The armies ask them to be still, and they make a pact: Cúroi goes home, and Munremur goes to Emain Macha.
