Fedelm Noichride
Also spelled: Fedelm Noíchride, Fedelm Noíchrothach
The woman with whom Cúchulainn promises to spend the night, and whom Conchobor's sons are sent to fetch from Temair.
Overview
When he feels the armies near, Cúchulainn tells his father Sualdam that he has promised to spend the night with Fedelm Noichride (though some say his meeting was with her bondmaid, who was set aside for his use). Later Conchobor's sons go to Temair with thirty others to get Ere son of Coirpre Niafer and Fedelm Noichride, and the Ulster host waits at Iraird Cuilenn for them. The text does not say how she is related to Erc, or whether she is the same woman as the poet Fedelm.
